French Dip Twist

One of my favorite places to go to experience a variety of great food, art, street entertainers or just a casual stroll on the boardwalk is Asbury Park New Jersey. Once a rundown town, Asbury has gone through a major renaissance and has recreated itself as a premier stop on the Jersey Shore.

One restaurant that I frequently visit is Langosta Lounge. In my most recent visit to Langosta Lounge, Chef Marilyn Schlossbach put an interesting twist on the ‘French dip’. On the menu was a ‘banh mi pho mi”— a sliced turkey banh mi with a pho broth to dip your sandwich in. It took the banh mi sandwich to the next level! If you ever get a chance to visit Asbury Park, New Jersey, Langosta Lounge is a must. Located right on the boardwalk with outdoor seating and a view of the ocean; as well as the best blood orange martini! Check out the menu here:
